How to use

Getting started:

  1. Download and print the A3 Brain Map (we recommend card or thicker paper for durability)
  2. Print and cut out the A4 picture tokens
  3. Print the 16-page guided booklet (we recommend printing double-sided and stapling along the spine, or using a home binder)
  4. Sit with your child and walk them through the booklet alongside the brain map - the booklet teaches the concepts, the map and tokens make it interactive
  5. Use the tokens to let your child place the pieces on the brain map themselves - this is where the learning happens

Tips for parents: Use it in calm moments, not during a meltdown. Read through the booklet together first. The goal is to teach the language BEFORE it's needed, so you can reference it when big feelings hit.

Tips for professionals: Laminate the brain map and tokens for repeated use. The booklet works as a session guide, walking children through the concepts step-by-step. Beautiful for 1:1 therapeutic work or small group settings.

Why buy from us?

Hi, I’m Kim, a mum, maker, and big believer in the power of mindfulness for both kids and grown-ups. I started Craftly because, like so many parents, I was feeling overwhelmed and unsure how best to support my child’s big feelings.

Over the past 12 years, I’ve been designing routine, emotions and learning resources alongside my lovely mum - a Teaching and Emotional Literacy Support Assistant with over 24 years of experience. Together, we listen closely to what families and children actually need, and we create tools that are simple, visual, and made with purpose.
